WEYA Art recently had the pleasure of attending the highly anticipated Grow Art Exhibition, presented by International Artists Doha and hosted at Workinton in Lusail, Doha – Qatar. This dynamic event brought together a diverse array of artworks from international artist residents of Doha, each piece a captivating reflection of the artist’s emotions, thoughts, and artistic vision.
As we stepped into the exhibition space, we were immediately struck by the sheer variety and richness of the artworks on display. From bold abstract paintings to intricate sculptures and multimedia installations, the exhibition offered a feast for the senses and a glimpse into the vibrant world of art.
Among the standout pieces was the guest of honour, Maria Constantini Al Bader’s “Painting of the People,” a mesmerizing mixed media artwork made of porcelain. With its vibrant colours and intricate textures, this piece invited viewers to contemplate the beauty and complexity of nature.
Another highlight of the exhibition was Lamia Awad’s “Free Spirit,” a multimedia artwork that captivated us with its evocative textures and dynamic colours. As we immersed ourselves in the piece, we felt transported to a different dimension, where creativity knows no bounds.
Aashish Tanwar’s metal sculpture showcased his exceptional talent for transforming raw materials into works of art. The intricate details and dynamic composition of his sculpture left a lasting impression on all who viewed it.
Maissaa Serhan’s “Harvest of Hope” stood out for its stunning realism and expressive quality. Through her meticulous attention to detail, Serhan captured the essence of hope and resilience, leaving us inspired and uplifted.
In addition to many artist to mention a few Manoj Kumar, Laila Darwish, Liana Spanou Zanti and all the artist exhibiting the Growth Exhibition was a resounding success, showcasing the immense talent and creativity of artists in Qatar and beyond.
We left the exhibition feeling energized and inspired, confident in the promising future of art in our community.
