Artist Biography

Artist Biography

is a Qatari visual artist and art educator whose practice moves fluidly across multiple modern art movements, with a particular affinity for impressionism. Her artistic journey began during her university years, progressing from graphite drawing to a wide exploration of materials and visual languages, including realism, surrealism, abstraction, and cubism. Working primarily with oil, acrylic, and watercolor, Al Kuwari’s work is driven by emotional response and imaginative inquiry, allowing technique and form to evolve organically with each subject. Alongside her studio practice, she has played a significant role in arts education as a graduate of Art Education and as an academic supervisor and coordinator at Qatar University’s Department of Art Education. Her work has been exhibited across Qatar and internationally, including presentations at Katara Art Exhibitions, the Qatar Fine Arts Society exhibitions, Al Bidda Exhibition, and exhibitions in Cairo, with upcoming participation in Art Factory exhibitions, the Qatar National Festival of Arts, and a portrait exhibition in New York. Through both her artistic and educational roles, Al Kuwari is committed to expanding visual literacy, supporting local and resident artists, and reshaping public perception of the visual arts and art education within contemporary society.
