This artwork captures a quiet passage within Souq Waqif, focusing on its narrow corridors and time worn architecture rather than the bustle often associated with the market. Through earthy tones, layered textures, and expressive brushwork, the painting reflects the lived history embedded in the walls and pathways of the souq. The absence of crowds allows the space itself to become the subject, highlighting the intimacy, rhythm, and authenticity of everyday life in this historic setting. By emphasizing light, shadow, and architectural details, the work invites the viewer to experience Souq Waqif as a place of memory and continuity where tradition persists quietly within the evolving city.
